Dr. Philip Snider, is an associate professor for Genetics in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry at NSM. He received his Masters and Ph. D. in Genetics at Harvard University in 1957 and did Neutron Activation Analysis and Isotope Technology at Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear studies in 1968. He is the developer of the Genetics Department here at the University of Houston and has trained several graduate students to MA, MS, and Ph. D. in both Biology and Biochemistry. Over the years Dr. Snider has won several awards both nationally and internationally and continues to be an inspiration for all of his students here at UH. On behalf of the University of Houston chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society it gives us great pleasure to welcome Dr. Snider to our organization.
